Solister Juleoratorium

Thomas Zimmermann was born in Munich, Germany, in 1989 and already from young age went trough extensive education in music and dance.

In 2009 he started his singing studies with Prof. Stephan Kohlenberg at the conservatory of music in Karlsruhe where from 2012 – 2016 he also studied music theory with Prof. Edith Metzner.

In the following years he appeared mostly as a soloist in oratorio and lied concerts as well as being a member of professional vocal ensembles. In autumn of 2018 he began a master of voice

Emma Mustaniemi, soprano

Finnish soprano Emma Mustaniemi (b. 1993) is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Music as a student of Hanna Hjort.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in May 2018 after studying with Soile Isokoski at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences. Emma has also participated in master classes with Sirkka Parviainen, Heikki Pellinen, Paolo Bidoli, Birte Myhrstad, Gabriele Micheli ja Laura Cherici.

Emma’s previous concert engagements include Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and J.S. Bach’s Johannes-Passion. Her operatic roles have included Despina (Cosí fan tutte) for Oulu Conservatoire Opera Studio, Princess Eliisa (Finnish composer Jaakko Kuusisto’s opera Prinsessa ja Villijoutsenet) for Oulu Music Festival and Page (Rigoletto) for Savonlinna Opera Festival. In January 2019, she will appear in the role of Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro) for the Joensuu Opera Association. Emma has also been a member of the Savonlinna Opera Festival Choir since Autumn 2015.

Richard Låås er født og opvokset i Upplands Väsby, Stockholm. Han har tidligere studeret ved tre forskellige Folkögskolor i Sverige, hvor Vadstena Folkögskola var den seneste før Konservatoriet i København. I dag studerer han sit tredje år på sin Bachelor og synger for Hanna Hjort.
Han er været solist i Faurés Requiem, sunget Judas i J.S. Bach’s Matheus Passion og solist i Händels Messias.

I Juni-18  sang han Förklädd Gud af Lars-Erik Larsson i Stockholm sammen med sit gamle gymnasium som kor og Stockholm Concert Orchestra.
Richard startede med musik ved 6 års alder med at spille klaver. Dette gjorde han i ti år inden han skiftede over til sang. På sin fritid strikker han gerne sokker.

Sophie Haagen, alt

Sophie Haagen studerer på kandidatuddannelsen ved Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium. 

Sophie er netop hjemvendt fra USA hvor hun har optrådt ved koncerter, masterclasses og opera forestillinger over to måneder i forbindelse med Aspen Music Festival i Colorado. Sidste efterårs semester, studerede Sophie på Eastman School of Music i Rochester New York, hvor hun modtog undervisning hos operasanger Anthony Dean Griffey. 

Sophie har deltaget i masterclasses med operasanger Bo Skovhus, pianist Andreas Haefliger, operasanger Annne Sofie Von Otter, pianist Roger Vignoles, tenor Julian Prégardien, operasanger Irene Gubrud, operasanger Carol Vaness og operasanger Elizabeth Hynes.
